Sharing the knowledge at TestFest

iXorg, Inc. is an international organization of computer system resellers, systems integrators, software developers, and consultants dedicated to advancing the capabilities of members and promoting vendor relationships.  Founded in 1989, iXorg provides technical education and business networking to its members, who are principally in the US, Canada, and Australia.

iXorg member companies consult, design, and support a wide variety of complex environments with the latest in hardware and software solutions, including Networking and Cloud Backup and Services.  The expertise is centred around Xinuos Unix (SCO OpenServer & UnixWare), BSD Unix, Linux, OmniOS, VMWare, Proxmox, and other Operating Systems.

Therefore, iXorg is committed to eXpanding its members' product knowledge of Computer Systems and promoting a high level of related technical eXpertise.

TestFest 2024 will be held at the Hyatt House in Orlando from November 16th through November 20th 2024.  The preliminary agenda is shown below with focus being on the Proxmox virtual platform that is getting great reviews from those that have starting using it.  This will include configuring a single server as well as a cluster, including configuration of a "ceph" cluster.  Backup strategies will also be discussed as well as WiFi 7 and the remote access utility TailScale.  Other hands-on techniques such as TCP/IP debugging will also be explored.  Of course, presentations of new offerings from Xinuos including new features and patches will be made.  Contact iXorg at This email address is being protected from spambots. The iXorg in-person TestFest returned to Las Vegas at the Plaza in November 2023.  Members setup a complete infrastructure network consisting of servers, network drives, PCs, etc. in order to install and test various software including virtual servers, remote VPNs, anti-virus products, diagnostic tools, and more.  This is the 29th TestFest as the scope of the membership expands into other current operating systems and offerings, and not just the Unix roots.  For more information about iXorg email This email address is being protected from spambots.
